The Huntsville Council PTA's 2025 Spring Awards Banquet was the past weekend. Our PTA is a integral part of our school, working to. support our students and teachers. Our PTA and volunteers were recognized for some of that work at this banquet. In the Multi School Division, our PTA won the Golden Apple x2, Early Bird Award, Gold Leaf Award, Oak Tree Award, and the Huntsville Council PTA Award for Top Growth. It was also recognized with a Family-School Partnership Award for "Welcome All Families" and "Communicate Effectively" for the Multi School Division, and received a grant back in the fall for Science Night Squishy Circuits.
Individual educators and volunteers at the banquet were also recognized. Mrs. Thompson was nominated as Outstanding Administrator and Mrs. Horton was nominated as Outstanding Teacher. Two of our PTA officers, Ms. Baker and Ms. Lewallen, were given special recognition awards for their service to the Huntsville Council PTA. Best of all, Ms. Parr, one of our officers and avid volunteers, received an Outstanding Volunteer Award! Our school thanks the amazing volunteers, as well as all the entire PTA for pouring into our students!
