On Tuesday evening, our school celebrated Black History with a "Night at the Museum". Audience members were treated to a performance by our kindergarten and first grade students. Kindergarten sang a song about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. First grade student performed a Moroccan song using instruments and performed a skit about black entertainers including Louis Armstrong, Aretha Franklin, and Beyonce. After the performance, families were invited to explore the "museum" to visit the different exhibits by all of the grade levels. These exhibits included all of the Black History Projects competed by our students this month. A big shout out to all of our performers for the evening, all of our students for their hard work on their projects, and the families for coming and supporting our students and school!
