ASFL Elementary won 2nd place for Environmental Excellence from Operation Green Team this year! There were 38 total schools in the competition. Spearheaded by our GATE teacher, Mrs. Allen, evidence of environmental lessons and field trips were submitted as part of the competition. The big focus was the pond and courtyard restoration she led her GATE students in this year. Mrs. Allen was also named the 2026 Green Guardian for the City of Huntsville Green Team. A big congratulations and thank you to Mrs. Allen for all effort she has put into this project.
