The Gear Shifters competed in the UAB Qualifier in Birmingham and brought home the Design Award!
The Design Award recognizes a team that demonstrates an outstanding engineering design process. This includes a well-thought-out robot, clear documentation, testing and improvement, and the ability to explain why their robot was built the way it was. It honors teams who truly think like engineers—planning, building, revising, and justifying every decision.
And that’s not all… They also qualified for STATE!
