Chaffee held its Family Literacy Night on Tuesday, April 29. "Wild about Learning" was the event's theme. To fit the theme, educators and children dressed in animal prints. Families had the opportunity to attend a PTA meeting to start the evening. Following that, parents received education on the value of literacy for students. Every grade level pod was open to families. Teachers offered up several reading or math exercises for families to participate in in each grade level pod. In addition, there was a book fair, crafts, prizes, and guest readers that evening. That night was WILD and lots of fun! Spending time with students and their families is something we adore!
