Greetings Chaffee Families,
We had a wonderful first month of school at Chaffee! As we welcome the month of September, we welcome a month of fresh opportunities for growth and success. September is Attendance Awareness Month, and we want to emphasize how important it is for students to be present and engaged each day. Consistent attendance not only supports academic success but also helps students build strong relationships, develop routines, and stay connected to the vibrant school culture we are building together at Chaffee. Every day matters, and every student matters — let’s make September a month of showing up and shining brightly!
We thoroughly enjoyed seeing so many families at our Fall Open House on Tuesday. Our students were so excited to have you join us at school to learn more about what they are doing and learning in their classrooms.
This past Thursday we kicked off our fall fundraiser, the Eagle Run! All information was sent home in Wednesday Folders. Our goal is to raise money for our school to purchase new and very much needed furniture for our school. If each student raises at least $50 we will exceed our goal of raising $16,000 for our school. I hope your family will participate!
Have you joined PTA this year? If not I encourage you to do so! We are very fortunate to have such a hardworking and supportive PTA. Becoming a member is a wonderful way to support the school and your child, so we hope you will join if you have not done so already.
