Greetings Chaffee Families,
I would like to congratulate Ms. Riley O’Connor on being selected as the Chaffee Teacher of the Year. I would also like to congratulate Ms. Kyllie Carter on being selected as the Chaffee Support Person of the Year. We are so grateful for all Ms. O’Connor and Ms. Carter do to help make Chaffee a wonderful place!
As you may be aware, on Friday the Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE) released its A-F Report Cards for the 2024-2025 school year. I am so excited to share that for the first time ever, Chaffee scored an A!!! This grade is based on ACAP test proficiency, ACAP test growth, English Learner progress, and chronic absenteeism. Our State Report Card Grade is a 90, and our Federal Report Card Grade is a 93! With your support I know we can keep our school growing in a positive way. We need students at school daily, prepared for learning and making Chaffee Choices! 😊
