Greetings Chaffee Families,
Due to the onset of extreme winter weather, Huntsville City Schools will be closed tomorrow. The district will monitor weather conditions to determine how to proceed Tuesday. Students can read and practice math facts while they’re at home.
This Friday is our PBIS Celebration. It’s going to be a very fun Board Game Bonanza! We still need a few volunteers. Volunteer here.
Next month is Black History Month, and we are selling Black History Month shirts. An order form was sent home in last week’s Wednesday Folder. You can also order online here. Orders are due this Friday.
Our i-Ready Winter Carnival has been rescheduled for Monday, February 2!

We want our students to be Number Ninjas! Keep practicing math facts with your child(ren)!
Please remember that students need tennis shoes/sneakers for PE daily. Wearing proper shoes prevents injuries.

Do you want additional support for improving your students' handwriting?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then make sure you attend our Handwriting Helps Parent Meeting by HCS Occupational Therapist, Emily Sims, on Thursday January 29th, at 1:45pm. Park in carline and check in at the office for a quick 30 minute meeting that will have you out in time for dismissal. All parents who attend will have a make and take to help support their student(s) at home with handwriting!
