It’s the last week of school before Spring Break! We’ve had wonderful attendance so far this month, so let’s keep it up this week!
Our PTA Meeting and Decades Bash is this Thursday! At the PTA Meeting, the Nominating Committee for next year’s PTA Board will be introduced and voted on. We will once again have a contest for best dressed. See the flyer below for more details. We need volunteers to make this event possible, so please sign up. The Decades Bash is always so much fun—we hope to see you there!
Spring ACAP Testing is right around the corner--see the testing schedule. Please make sure students arrive to school on time, eat a healthy breakfast at home or at school, and have a charged laptop. Please encourage your child to do his/her best. Every test is practice for the next test!
K for a Day will be held Friday, April 17! This is an event for students entering Kindergarten next year and their parents. We can’t wait to meet our new students on this day! Please help spread the word to your neighbors. See the flyer below for more details. New student registration hasn’t opened yet, but you can register your rising kindergarten student for K for a Day.
Read Across America Week was a blast! Students enjoyed listening to over 20 guest readers! I am so appreciative of the community support at Chaffee! We had a great week with a lot of excitement about reading!
Returning Student Registration for the 2026-27 school year is open! An email with directions has been sent from the district to the primary email address on file for each student. Please complete registration as soon as possible so that we can plan for next year. Please encourage your friends to register as soon as possible. You can reach out to Ms. Cothren or Ms. Carter with any questions.
