Greetings Chaffee Families,
Our students had so much fun at the Eagle Run on Friday! Thank you to everyone who volunteered and helped make it a fun and exciting experience! We have met our first big fundraising goal of $10,000! Our goal is for every student to raise at least $50. Keep getting those sponsorships. The fundraiser closes Wednesday, September 30. Funds raised through the Eagle Run will directly support our students!
It’s Hispanic Heritage Month, and we have been celebrating daily. This week we will have our Hispanic Heritage Month dress up week and our Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration. Thank you for your participation in celebrating this month!
We can't wait to host our Grandparent's Lunch on Tuesday, October 20! If your child's grandparents are unable to attend, please know that we welcome any special adult(s) in your child's life. Lunch is pre-order only and orders are due by Monday, October 12. The order form was sent home this past week. If you need another copy, please reach out to your child’s teacher or the front office. Guests should arrive 15-20 minutes before the grade level lunch time and check in at the front office with their identification. The Book Fair will be open for shopping too!
September is Attendance Awareness Month—let’s finish the month strong, only 3 more school days in September! Consistent attendance not only supports academic success but also helps students build strong relationships, develop routines, and stay connected to the vibrant school culture we are building together at Chaffee. Every day matters, and every student matters!
