Greetings Chaffee Families,
During the month of November I like to reflect on the things for which I’m thankful. I am so thankful to be a part of the Chaffee Family. The students, teachers, support staff, and families are a joy to work with. Chaffee is a wonderful place to be! Please join me in sending thankful sentiments to our faculty and staff this month—a nice note or email goes a long way in helping a person feel valued.
Our next PBIS Celebration is this week! Volunteer!
November is National Family Literacy Month! The Alabama Reading Initiative (ARI) is excited to share two family resource videos highlighting how everyday moments can become meaningful opportunities to build children's language and literacy skills.
Grocery Store Conversations: ARI Literacy FRESH for Family and Community Empowerment
Conversations in the Car: ARI Conversational Turns to Promote Oral Language Development
Our Penguin Patch Holiday Shop will be open November 16-20, and we need volunteers (parent, guardians, grandparents, etc.) to help students shop. Please volunteer!
We want your child to reach his/her full potential, and students learn best when they are at school! Thank you to everyone for making school attendance a top priority!
We reached $13,000 during the Eagle Run! We have scheduled our school prizes! Our Eagle Run Scavenger Hunt will be November 12 for all students who raised $50 or more. Thank you again to everyone who raised money for our school!
