Coach LouAllen’s Earth and Space students have created a scale model of our solar system!

The tour begins at the science lab, where you can explore the planets displayed to scale along the lockers.

Each lab card represents a planet, spaced according to a 4-foot scale—roughly three lockers—to equal one astronomical unit (about 93 million miles, the distance from Earth to the Sun). The tour concludes near the Science Hall bathrooms.

Along the way, students and staff can learn about planets and other celestial bodies. Students are using their research posters to complete a scavenger hunt quiz—and even our SROs are joining in on the fun!
