Columbia's CSI team from Coach LouAllen's class have recenlty studied fingerprint analysis. Fingerprint analysis compares fingerprints found at a crime scene with known prints to solve crimes-- it is a fundamental part of forensic science!
Students can be seen using 10 cards to take their fingerprints for analysis. Students learned the major categories of prints, how to identifiy minutiae petterns in ridges, to compare and match prints.
