Columbia's band playing on stage at the MBDNA concert in Atlanta

The Columbia High School Band performed in the Minority Band Directors National Association (MBDNA) Concert & Jazz Band Invitational.

The Minority Band Directors National Association (MBDNA) is an organization designed to serve, promote, celebrate and mentor ethnic minority band directors throughout the United States and is dedicated to highlight significant band related events that fosters growth and development within the national band community.

MBDNA fosters a sharing of commons goals and ideals relevant to the minority band director. MBDNA proposes to serve as a source for meaningful dialogue and educational enhancement through workshops, conventions, clinics, guest artists, lectures and performances.

The concert and jazz band event was held in Atlanta, GA on April 3rd through 4th.
