We are thrilled to recognize seven outstanding students who achieved a major milestone on their journey into the healthcare field! After months of preparation throughout the fall semester, these students successfully passed their Patient Care Technician (PCT) Certification Test in December 2024.
Beginning in February, they took their learning to the next level by interning twice a week at both Huntsville Hospital and Madison Hospital. During these hands-on experiences, they provided patient care within the PCT scope of practice, gaining real-world experience and making a meaningful impact.
They officially completed their internship on April 24th — and we’re excited to share that one student already has a job lined up following graduation!
