Here's a look at what is happening in Eagle’s Nest this week:
Announcements
JROTC will go to Alabama A&M from 9:00 AM and return at 2:00 PM.
I Lead, You Lead Mentoring Program will have a Guest Speaker Tuesday during Focus 45.
We will have a PBIS movie and popcorn on Wednesday at 2:30 PM.
We will meet with our 11th grade students on Thursday during Focus 45 to discuss Option B diploma options.
Columbia Annual Fine Arts Concert will be Thursday December 11th at 6:30 PM.
Academics
We have only two weeks of school remaining so it's very important that you check your grades and finish the semester strong.
Attendance
I want to thank all of students and parents for improving our attendance rate. We are currently at 95% and we can only maintain this if all students attend school everyday. Remember, whatever grade level has the highest attendance rate for the month of December will be attending Main Event for free in January.
Please encourage your scholar to attend school every day because attendance is very important to us at Columbia. Please visit our attendance page on our school's website for information.

Athletics
Basketball teams will play at Skyline on Monday with tip-off schedule at 4:30 PM.
Basketball teams will play at Westminster on Tuesday with tip-off scheduled at 4:30 PM.
Bowling teams will be at Bowl Madison on Tuesday with matches beginning at 3:30 PM
Wrestling teams are at home on Tuesday with matches beginning at 4:00 PM.
Adapted Basketball will play at UAH on Wednesday with games beginning at 10:00 AM.
Bowling Teams will be at Bowl Madison on Thursday with matches beginning at 3:30 PM.
Wrestling will visit Hartselle on Friday with matches beginning at 3:00 PM.
Basketball teams will close out the week at Buckhorn with tip-off starting at 4:30 PM.
Wrestling teams will be back at Hartselle on Saturday with matches beginning at 7:00 AM.
Indoor track will travel to Birmingham Cross Plex on Saturday with meets starting at 8:00 AM.
