Members of the Epsilon Gamma Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Advocate for Social Justice, visited Mrs. Blackwell’s Government class to connect with students and educate them about voting and becoming a registered voter.
The goals were to help our students:
to learn about the election process
become civically engaged
recognize the value of a diverse democracy (includes inclusivity and representation of diverse voices in decision- making and governance)
become advocates for voting in their communities
We are happy to announce that CHS registered 29 seniors!
Thank you to Mrs. Blackwell, the members of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Career and Technical Student Organization and their Advisers for overseeing and organizing this event.
