A group of students are gathered together on a bench in the courtyard during the school-wide ACAP & State Report Card celebration.

Chapman Middle School recently came together to celebrate something truly special and unique: the hard work, resilience, and determination of our faculty, staff, and students. As a school, we celebrated the undeniable fact that Chapman is Rising, not just in academics, but in culture as well. This event served as a powerful reminder of what is possible when a community truly believes in its children and invests in their future.

The results of this commitment are clear. Over the past three years, Chapman’s State Report Card score has jumped an incredible 21 points, achieving a current score of 72! This achievement is no accident; it is a direct reflection of the relentless commitment to education shared by our staff and students. It marks a turning point for the school and sets a new standard for excellence.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Representative Rex Reynolds, Commissioner Violet Edwards, HCS School Board Member Holly McCarty, Ericka Morrow, and the many anonymous donors who made this celebration possible. Most importantly, thank you to our fine staff and students who show up every day focused, determined, and passionate about making Chapman Middle School better than it was the day before.
