We are thrilled to announce that Chapman Middle School has officially been recognized for our commitment to the environment! Our school took home the 3rd Place trophy at the annual Green Ambassador School Awards. Schools across Huntsville were recognized as Green Ambassador Schools for their collective environmental action and participation in sustainability education initiatives throughout the academic year. Winning this award is a massive achievement that highlights the hard work of our students, teachers, and staff who strive to make our campus a cleaner, greener place to learn.
The competition was fierce, as elementary, middle, and high school finalists from all over the city were honored for their exemplary campus-wide environmental programs, outdoor learning initiatives, conservation projects, and STEM-based environmental education activities. Chapman stood out thanks to our dedicated hands-on approach to sustainability.
