While summer is traditionally a time for rest, our dedicated educators spent four intensive days focused on growth, collaboration, and classroom excellence. Teachers across English Language Arts (ELA), Math, Science, Social Studies, and Computer Science attended the A+ College READY Year 1 Training hosted at Hewitt-Trussville High School.
During this four-day professional development institute, our team worked alongside fellow educators from across Alabama to dive into strategies designed to elevate academic rigor and guide every student toward grade-level proficiency and beyond.
Key Takeaways from the Training:
Elevating Classroom Rigor: Developing standards-aligned lessons that challenge students to think critically and solve complex problems.
Statewide Collaboration: Sharing best practices, resources, and instructional methods with top educators across Alabama.
Subject-Specific Strategies: Gaining actionable tools tailored specifically to ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Computer Science curricula.
By investing their summer hours into high-level professional development, our teachers ensure that our classrooms remain dynamic, supportive, and academically challenging. We are proud of our team's commitment to continuous learning and look forward to seeing the positive impact of their hard work in the coming school year!
