Chapman Middle School celebrated students' positive behavior choices this quarter with our highly anticipated annual Fall Festival! As part of our PBIS program, the school turned into a celebration featuring games and fellowship.
Students had a wide array of activity choices. Outdoors, the main attraction was the dunk tank, where students and staff lined up for the chance to make a splash by dunking Mr. Thornton. Nearby, students played giant lawn games like Connect Four and Jenga, while others threw a football or played pickup soccer. Inside the gym, students danced to music and played basketball and volleyball, while the cafeteria hosted a more relaxed vibe complete with pizza, board games, and lively rounds of Bingo hosted by Ms. Stone.
The afternoon also included a touching moment of reflection. Everyone enjoyed cupcakes together in honor of Mrs. Peavy's birthday, which fell on September 27th. Together, students and staff paused to remember Mrs. Peavy, celebrating her steadfast dedication to the Chapman Middle School family and honoring the high expectations she inspired in every Charger.
