Important Reminders:

  • Independent Arrival: We kindly ask that parents no longer walk or escort scholars to class. Our dedicated staff will be stationed in the hallways to guide and support scholars to their classrooms.

  • Morning Arrival: School opens at 7:30 a.m. For safety reasons, please do not drop off students before this time, as supervision is not available prior to 7:30 a.m.

  • Start of Instruction: Learning begins promptly at 8:00 a.m. Please ensure your scholar arrives on time each day so they can start the day ready to learn and succeed.

Important Announcements

HCS Asks Eligible Families to Complete Impact Aid Form


Huntsville City Schools is asking eligible families to complete the Federal Impact Aid Survey Form electronically starting October 16, 2025, through December 19, 2025. Spanish Versions of the form are available at each school. Impact Aid provides school districts with additional federal dollars to help support resources in classrooms. Who is Eligible to Complete the Impact Aid Form?

  • Parents/Guardians who work/live on Redstone Arsenal or other federal properties.

  • Parents/Guardians on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces.

  • Parents/Guardians who live in federal/public housing communities.

How to Complete Impact Aid Form Electronically?

  • Login to the Parent Portal in the PowerSchool app or through the PowerSchool website.

  • Click on Forms, then click on Huntsville City Impact Aid.

  • A form should be completed for each student attending Huntsville City Schools.

  • Spanish version of the form is available at each school.
