Greetings CES Families,

Based on current forecasts, our area is expected to experience extremely cold weather. Please ensure your scholar is dressed appropriately for frigid temperatures, especially during arrival, dismissal, and any outdoor transitions.

  • A Cold Weather Advisory is in effect from Sunday through Monday morning.

  • Subfreezing temperatures are expected to continue through noon on Monday.

  • Gusty winds of 20–30 mph may result in wind chill values below 20°F today.

  • Wind chills in the single digits are likely tonight and Monday morning.

We appreciate your support in helping keep our students safe and warm during this time. Thank you for staying weather-aware and prepared.

We are excited to see you all for our Winter Holiday/End of Semester Parties on Thursday, December 18th!

  • Parking: You can use the front parking lot, LANES 1 & 3 in the car rider line, or by the playground for parking. The left lanes must remain open in the car line to allow people to exit. Anyone who needs/requires handicap-accessible parking can park up front. Cars must be moved by 2:15.

  • Entering the Building: All guests will enter the building through the Front Door. You MUST have your ID to enter and listed on scholar’s contact list. Please keep the front lobby clear for handicap-accessible entry and non-holiday party checkouts.

  • Check-in Table: You MUST show ID when entering the building. We will have check-in tables set up at the car rider line doors. Please have your ID out and ready to make the process run smoothly. Once you have checked in for a party, you do not have to check in for another party if you leave and come back, but you must have your sticker on your clothing.

Check-Outs from Parties: You may check your scholar(s) out from the party in the front office.
