Ms. Moore, our amazing reading coach, joined Mrs. Davey’s class for engaging Tier 1 ELA and reading blocks! Students jumped into phonics-based instruction by manipulating words and sounds. They practiced this week's sight words on their student work mats by segmenting and mapping phonemes and building strong sentences. To top it off, Ms. Moore led a fantastic multi-day writing lesson focused on illustrated details for a narrative and using sensory words to bring their writing to life! We love seeing our students grow as readers and writers. Thank you, Ms. Moore for making learning so meaningful!
