Goldsmith-Schiffman Elementary

This past week Ms. Byars' students practiced adding on number lines. They started the week learning kinesthetically, then moved on to placing numbers on the number line. After that with the help of our Math Coach, Mrs. Fellman, the class worked with colored counting blocks to demonstrate the concept of an open number line. Expanding their minds is always a challenge but it is always fun thanks to our teachers sharing their creative ideas!
