Two students at a round table using legos to build a hotel model in the library.

During Art and Library classes, all K-5 students are exploring the exciting world of architecture! Students read in the library with Ms. Hopkins about what it means to be an architect and then put their learning into action by building their own structures. In art class, students are studying different architectural styles and designing their very own dream hotel. This project is a part of a statewide art competition that challenges students to imagine what a dream hotel could look like and to draw a simple model that highlights architectural characteristics, and fun innovative features! If your student would like to submit their hotel design, please bring it to Ms. Freeman by January 26th.
