Thank you for another great school year! We ask for your support in making the most of this summer by extending your children’s learning. To support you, we have mathematics and reading packets available for kindergarten through fifth grade students. Please use the link below to request them prior to Friday, May 29th.
HCS Request Survey 2026 for Summer Learning Packets
In addition, the summer recommended reading list for students in grades K-5 is available on the 2026 Summer Reading page of the HCS website. Families are encouraged to add any books that are appropriate for their readers. The staff in the Children/Youth Services area of the Huntsville-Madison Co. Public Library and other local branches will also have many wonderful suggestions.
Lastly, listed below are summer camp/program links for various organizations across North Alabama.
