Exciting Week for the GSES Habitat Learning Lab!

September 25th was an exciting day for the GSES Habitat Learning Lab! We are proud to announce that our Habitat Learning Lab has officially been certified by both the Alabama Wildlife Federation and the National Wildlife Federation. A special thank-you goes to April Waltz from the Alabama Wildlife Federation for A Student in the Outdoor Classroom presenting about the pollinator garden to 5 adult visitors.all of her hard work and guidance in helping us reach this exciting milestone! Our students are eager to explore, learn, and make the most of this wonderful outdoor resource right here at GSES. This certification also allows us to begin incorporating the Junior Wildlife Scientist curriculum into our learning experiences. Students will have opportunities to investigate wildlife, explore habitats, and develop a deeper understanding of the natural world around them. We are excited to see where this new adventure takes our students!
