Parents,
We read a fun book in the library this week called Flat Stanley by Marc Brown. The kids received a Flat Stanley to color and take along on one of their fall break adventures. They can visit a fun place in town or join you on a family trip. Stanley Lambchop is the main character in the Flat Stanley series. In the first story, he was flattened by a bulletin board. Don’t worry, he’s doing great! Now he gets to travel the world by envelope and experience many adventures. We are tracking his adventures on a map and learning about the places he visits. You can email a picture of your Hawk and Stanley's Fall Break adventure to Mrs. Suzan Ellet. Your Hawk can also bring travel brochures of where they travel. We will have a display in the library showcasing all of Stanley's adventures.
