Hampton Cove Elementary School

Students, families, and staff enjoyed an exciting morning as we officially launched this year’s Parade of Readers challenge. Centered around the theme “The Wonderful Readers of Oz,” the event featured a mix of student performances, including songs and readings that celebrated the magic and importance of literacy. Our students spoke with enthusiasm about their love of books and the adventures that reading can inspire. Following the assembly, the first-grade class proudly led a festive parade through the school, bringing smiles and excitement to all who watched. The halls were filled with cheers from classmates, families, and community partners, making it a memorable kickoff to a wonderful time of reading.
