We are off to a fantastic start to the school year, and it’s hard to believe we’re already heading into Week 3! Thank you for your continued support as we work together to make this a successful year for all our students.
As we look ahead to our third week, we wanted to share a few important updates.
PTA Meeting & Welcome Back to School Night – Wednesday, August 21, from 4:00–6:00 p.m.
Join us to meet your child’s teachers, learn about upcoming programs, and connect with other families. The PTA will also share ways you can get involved and support our school community.
First Club Day – Friday, August 22
Students will participate in their first club sessions of the year! Clubs offer great opportunities for students to explore interests, meet new friends, and engage in positive school activities.
Free Seat Friday – Friday, August 22 during lunch
As a reward for students with no disciplinary referrals, we will host our first Free Seat Friday! Students can choose their own lunch seats and enjoy a relaxed, social atmosphere to celebrate positive behavior.
Schedule Update – No More Rotating Bell Schedules
We will no longer follow a rotating bell schedule. Hampton Cove Middle School has been given the exciting opportunity to add a contract teacher to expand our art elective offerings. Because this elective will be offered during part of the school day, we will need to maintain a consistent class schedule to ensure smooth transitions and maximize instructional time.
