Dear Bull Families,

As we welcome the month of September, we also welcome a season of fresh opportunities for growth and success at Hampton Cove Middle School. September marks the beginning of our school-wide attendance focus, and we want to emphasize how important it is for students to be present and engaged each day. Consistent attendance not only supports academic success but also helps students build strong relationships, develop routines, and stay connected to the vibrant culture we are building together at HCMS. Every day matters, and every student matters — let’s make September a strong month of showing up and shining bright!

We also have some exciting events coming up this week:

Monday, September 1 – No School

In observance of Labor Day, school will be closed. We hope everyone enjoys a safe, restful long weekend with family and friends.

Wednesday, September 3 – Volleyball at HCMS

Our Lady Bulls will defend their home court against Mountain Gap and Morris Middle. We’d love to see our stands filled with Bull spirit!

Wednesday, September 3 – Home Football Game

The Bulls will take on Whitesburg Middle at Milton Frank Stadium. Join us for an afternoon of excitement and school pride as we cheer on our players.

Friday, September 5 – Cheer at Huntsville High Pep Rally

Our cheerleaders will represent HCMS with energy and pride at the Huntsville High School Pep Rally. Their enthusiasm is a wonderful example of leadership and school spirit in action.

Thank you for your continued support and encouragement. Your involvement makes all the difference as we work to inspire, engage, and empower every Bull. We look forward to a fantastic week filled with learning, teamwork, and celebrations of student success.

Let’s make this September one to remember: strong attendance, intense effort, and strong school spirit!

Go Bulls!

Warm regards,
