A Message from Principal Martinez
I hope everyone enjoyed a restful and refreshing Fall Break surrounded by family and friends. As we begin the second nine weeks, our staff is energized and ready to continue building on the strong start to our school year.
Our attendance focus is making a noticeable difference—student learning, participation, and classroom engagement have all improved. We are currently averaging a 3% increase in daily attendance compared to earlier this semester! Thank you to our families for helping reinforce the importance of being present and on time each day. Your partnership makes a tremendous impact on student success.

Looking Ahead
As we move into the heart of the semester, please continue encouraging your child to stay focused on good attendance, positive behavior, and strong academic habits. Consistency is key, and together we can ensure every student finishes the first semester with confidence and success.
Thank you to our PTA and parent volunteers for your continued support of our students, teachers, and programs. Your involvement—whether it’s helping with events, sharing ideas, or cheering from the sidelines—helps make Hampton Cove Middle School an outstanding place to learn and grow.
