This week includes important ACAP assessments, a Jazz Band performance, the FTC Qualifier, and our annual Veterans Day Ceremony honoring those who have served our country. Please take a moment to review the schedule below.
ACAP Assessments
We will begin our state ACAP testing this week. Please ensure students arrive on time, are well-rested, and bring their charged devices each day.
November 3–4: ACAP ELA and Math 7th and 8th Grades
November 5–6: ACAP Science 8th Grade Only

November 3: Jazz Band Performance. Come out and enjoy an evening of outstanding student musicianship!
STEAM Team FTC Qualifier
November 7–8: FTC Qualifier at NCTHS Good luck to our HCMS STEAM Team as they represent Hampton Cove Middle School in this exciting robotics competition!
Veterans Day Ceremony
November 7, 5:00 PM: Join us as we honor the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Our Veterans Day Ceremony will feature student performances, speakers, and special recognitions. Parents, families, and community members are welcome to attend as we celebrate and express gratitude for our veterans’ service..
