Welcome back to Hampton Cove Middle School! We hope your winter break was restful and filled with quality time with family and friends. We are excited to begin a new semester and look forward to a strong start as we reengage our students in learning. Below are the important events and activities happening this week.
Tuesday, January 6
We are excited to welcome students back as we begin a fresh semester full of new opportunities for growth, learning, and success.
Student-Led Conference Preparation (Toro Time) all week. During Toro Time, students will prepare for upcoming Student-Led Conferences by reflecting on their academic progress, setting goals, and organizing materials to share with their families.
Wednesday, January 7
i-Ready Diagnostic Testing. Students will participate in i-Ready Diagnostic assessments. These assessments help us measure growth and guide instruction to best meet each student’s needs. Please ensure students arrive on time, well-rested, and ready to do their best.
Thursday, January 8
i-Ready Diagnostic Testing continued.
Our basketball teams will travel to McNair Middle School for an away game. We wish our student-athletes the best of luck and appreciate your continued support.
Report Card Grades Released
Friday, January 9
Report cards for the first semester will be released. Families are encouraged to review grades with students and celebrate progress while setting goals for the new semester.
