Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are looking forward to another exciting week at Hampton Cove Middle School as we continue building momentum in the second semester. We are also incredibly proud to share that Hampton Cove Middle School is currently tied as the #2 middle school in Alabama a testament to the hard work of our students, staff, and families. Thank you for your continued support!
Below are the important events and activities happening this week:
Monday, January 19
There will be no school in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Tuesday, January 20
Cheer Interest Meeting at 5:30pm. Students interested in trying out for cheerleading and their families are invited to attend this informational meeting in the AV room.
We will conduct a CERT drill at 10:00 am as part of our ongoing safety preparedness. This is a routine exercise to ensure students and staff are prepared and familiar with procedures.
Students will participate in a Spring Pep Rally to celebrate school spirit and our athletic programs.
Parents of students participating in the upcoming STEM field trip are encouraged to attend this informational meeting at 5:30pm.
Thursday, January 22
Basketball playoffs begin this week. More information will be shared soon regarding game times and locations.
Friday, January 23
Club Day – Students will participate in their club activities.
Free Seat Friday (Lunch) – A PBIS reward opportunity for students.
Saturday, January 24
We will host a Curriculum Showcase at the Center for Technology, highlighting student learning and programs. We hope to see many of our families there!
