Dear Parents and Guardians,
Thank you for another great first quarter at Hampton Cove Middle School! As we begin Fall Break, we want to thank our families for your continued support, communication, and partnership throughout the first nine weeks of the school year.
We hope our students, families, faculty, and staff enjoy a safe, relaxing, and well-deserved break!
Fall Break – October 5–9
Huntsville City Schools will observe Fall Break next week.
There will be no school for students during Fall Break.
We encourage our Bulls to take this opportunity to rest, recharge, spend time with family and friends, and return ready for a strong start to the second quarter.
First Quarter Complete!
We are proud of the hard work our students and teachers have put in throughout the first quarter.
Families are encouraged to review student grades and celebrate their student's successes from the first nine weeks. The beginning of a new quarter is also a great opportunity for students to set new academic goals and identify areas where they would like to improve.
We look forward to continuing to work together to help every Bull be successful!
Veterans Support Club Donation Drive
The HCMS Veterans Support Club's donation drive benefiting the Downtown Rescue Mission will continue after Fall Break through October 23.
Veterans make up a significant portion of the homeless population, and our students are working to support individuals in need within our community.
The advisory class collecting the most donations will receive a donut party!
Thank you for helping our Veterans Support Club make a positive difference in our community!
Get Ready for the Second Quarter!
When we return from Fall Break, we will begin the second nine weeks of the school year.
We encourage students to start the new quarter strong by: arriving at school on time and ready to learn, completing assignments and staying organized, asking teachers for help when needed, demonstrating BULLS expectations throughout the school, getting involved in clubs, athletics, and other school activities, and making positive choices each day
A new quarter is a fresh opportunity to set goals, work hard, and continue growing.
Support Our Bulls!
Thank you for continuing to support our students in academics, athletics, clubs, fine arts, and extracurricular activities.
We are proud of the character, sportsmanship, leadership, and commitment our Bulls demonstrate both inside and outside the classroom.
Thank You for Your Support
We appreciate the tremendous support of our HCMS families throughout the first quarter. Your patience, communication, encouragement, and partnership play an important role in helping us provide a safe, positive, and successful school experience for every student.
Enjoy Fall Break, Bulls!
We look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for a great second quarter!
With Bull Pride,
Kris Martinez, Principal
