Another Great Week to Be a Bull!
We are off to a great start in the second nine weeks at Hampton Cove Middle School! Our students and teachers have returned from Fall Break ready to learn, grow, and make the most of the opportunities ahead.
As we continue through October, we have several exciting events, athletic competitions, and opportunities for our students to get involved and give back to our community.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support as we work together to make HCMS a great place for every student!
ACAP Makeup Testing – All Week
ACAP makeup testing will take place throughout the week for students who missed their scheduled assessments.
Please help us ensure students are prepared by encouraging a good night's sleep, arriving at school on time, and coming ready to do their best.
We appreciate your support as we work to complete testing and provide a positive testing environment for all students.
STEAM Team Meeting – October 20
The HCMS STEAM Team will meet on Tuesday from 3:00–5:00 PM.
Our STEAM students continue to develop valuable skills in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics through collaboration, creativity, and hands-on learning.
We are excited to see their continued growth and innovation!
Football Game vs. Williams – October 20
Come out and support our Bulls as they take on Williams on Tuesday at 6:30 PM!
We encourage our HCMS families to come cheer on our student-athletes as they represent our school with determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Soccer Interest Meeting – October 22
A Soccer Interest Meeting will be held on Thursday at 5:30 PM.
Families of students interested in participating in soccer are encouraged to attend to learn more about the upcoming season and program expectations.
We look forward to another exciting season of HCMS athletics!
GreenPower Race at Toyota Field – October 24
Our HCMS GreenPower team will compete at Toyota Field on Saturday!
GreenPower provides students with an exciting opportunity to apply engineering, problem-solving, teamwork, and innovation through electric vehicle design and racing.
We are incredibly proud of our students and their dedication to this program. We wish our team the best of luck as they represent Hampton Cove Middle School!
Huntsville Smile Hygiene Product Donation Drive
HCMS is supporting Huntsville Smile by collecting hygiene products to help individuals and families in need throughout our community.
We encourage our Bulls families to consider donating essential personal care items, such as, toothbrushes, toothpaste and floss.
Every donation, big or small, can make a meaningful difference in someone's life.
Thank you for helping our students demonstrate kindness, compassion, and service to others!
Veterans Support Club Donation Drive – Through October 23
The HCMS Veterans Support Club's donation drive benefiting the Downtown Rescue Mission.
Our students are collecting items to support individuals in need within our community, including veterans experiencing homelessness.
The advisory class collecting the most donations will receive a donut party!
Thank you for supporting our Veterans Support Club and helping our students make a positive impact on the lives of others!
Finish October Strong!
As we continue through the second nine weeks, we encourage all students to remain focused on academic success, positive behavior, and consistent attendance.
Families can help by regularly checking PowerSchool, encouraging students to complete assignments, and communicating with teachers whenever additional support is needed.
We also encourage our students to continue demonstrating our BULLS expectations and taking advantage of opportunities to participate in clubs, athletics, fine arts, and other school activities.
Every day is an opportunity to grow, improve, and make a positive difference!
