Highlands Elementary School

WAAY 31 News Meteorologist Grace Anello visited our 2nd-grade students for a special and exciting learning experience! Students enjoyed a fun story time where Grace shared her passion for weather and explained how meteorologists study storms. They also got an up-close look at the impressive Storm Tracker Vehicle, learning how it helps her report live from the field during severe weather. To make the day even more special, our students were featured on WAAY 31 News that evening. It was a memorable and inspiring day for our young learners as they discovered how science, technology, and teamwork come together to keep our communities safe.
