Huntsville High School dominated the 66th AHSAA Swimming and Diving Championships this past Saturday at the Huntsville Aquatic Center, capturing both the boys’ and girls’ Class 6A/7A titles. The boys’ swim team scored 372 points to claim its 10th consecutive state championship, while the girls’ team posted 236 points, earning its 13th overall title. With this victory, the Huntsville boys have now won a record 22 state championships in AHSAA history.

Huntsville High’s performances demonstrated remarkable depth across both individual events and relays. Rising athletes, including freshmen like Emma Mauldin and Andrew Bedsole, made important contributions, showing that the program’s future remains bright. With this sweep, Huntsville High reaffirms its position as a powerhouse in Alabama swimming and diving, combining talent, teamwork, and consistency to dominate the state championships.
