HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Lee High School is proud to celebrate its ongoing partnership with Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Alabama. Through the Toyota DRIVE Grant, made possible by a collaboration with United Way and the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber Foundation, several Lee High teachers have once again received funding to improve and enrich classroom instruction.
This year’s grant recipients include science teachers Mr. McDonald, Mr. Rominske, Mrs. Echols, and Mrs. McNealy. Their projects will directly support the learning of students across all grade levels, impacting more than 1,000 students annually.
The Toyota DRIVE program supports local educators who create hands-on learning experiences that connect classroom concepts to real-world applications. Each grant aims to strengthen STEM education and inspire future innovators through meaningful, high-quality learning opportunities.
“Partnerships like this make a measurable difference in our classrooms,” said Mr. McDonald. “These grants allow us to provide engaging learning tools that help students think critically and see how science connects to their daily lives.”
Lee High School expresses its sincere gratitude to Toyota Alabama for its continued investment in public education and its commitment to helping students succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
