Huntsville, Ala.
Four films from the Lee High School Film and Video Magnet have been selected for exhibition at the 2026 George Lindsey UNA Film Festival in the Youth Films category. The Youth Films screening will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 5, 2026, on the University of North Alabama campus.
The selected films, The Bird, Run, Evil Printer and Anything for Fame, represent a range of student storytelling styles, from comedy and genre experimentation to performance-driven narrative work.
“Having four student films selected is a meaningful recognition of our filmmakers’ creativity and work ethic,” said Dillon Lee, director of the Lee High School Film and Video Magnet. “We’re proud to see our students included in a festival with a long Alabama legacy and to share their work with a wider audience.”

The Lee High School Film and Video Magnet develops student filmmakers through hands-on production experiences in writing, directing, cinematography, sound and editing, emphasizing collaboration, craft and storytelling.
