Lee High School is celebrating senior Jaelynn Walker, whose poem “Male Entitlement” has been accepted for publication in the upcoming book “The Beautiful Truth: Expressions Ink.”
Walker is a member of the LHS Creative Writing Magnet, where she has spent the past three years developing her voice as a writer. Her upcoming publication reflects her creativity, dedication and willingness to use writing as a way to explore meaningful ideas.
Walker is set to graduate May 22. Lee High School is proud to recognize her accomplishment and celebrate this exciting milestone as she prepares to close out her senior year.
Her work is a strong example of the talent, discipline and student voice that continue to grow through Lee High School’s magnet programs.
