Congratulations, MGMS singers for an amazing performance at the 2025 All-State Festival! The work you put in over the course of two days paid off in a beautiful way.
The Treble Choir was led by renowned choral musician, Sophia Miller, who has prepared choirs all over the country and around the world for performances. Her praises are sung loudly by those blessed enough to work with her. She used her time with our singers to introduce them to themselves, to ask themselves why they love to sing, what it is that motivates them. She gave them permission to be imperfect and encouraged them lead with their hearts. In all these ways she skillfully and lovingly gifted our singers with the ownership of their own voices. Hanging on her every word, they put their whole and true selves into these pieces and found that special connection that Ms. Miller is all about.
