Mountain Gap Middle School

In 8th grade science, students participated in a hands-on investigation using “fortune teller fish". Students began by carefully observing how the fish moved in their hand. Then they formed hypotheses about what might be causing the motion. They tested a variety of variables, such as temperature, moisture, and light to gather evidence. After analyzing their results, students developed a scientific explanation for the fish's movement. This engaging experiment helped reinforce the scientific method and deepened their understanding of experimental variables.
