A group of 6th grade students discussing the earth's layers around a lab table

Sixth grade students studied the Earth’s layers through interactive investigations and models. They examined how temperature changes deep inside the Earth and discussed the role of the planet’s magnetic field. To model the effects of pressure, students used oobleck, a non-Newtonian fluid that behaves like both a liquid and a solid. This hands-on activity helped bring Earth science concepts to life in a fun and memorable way!
