8th grade science students presented their "Science in Cooking" projects. Each group selected a recipe and analyzed it to uncover the chemistry happening behind the recipe. From identifying pure substances and mixtures to explaining physical and chemical changes, students discovered just how much science goes into everyday cooking. They even explored concepts that we learned this past nine weeks such as solubility and solutions—all through hands-on, real-world examples. Learning has never been so delicious!
