Mountain Gap Middle School

Our 8th graders had an exciting hands-on lab as they investigated chemical reactions inside a bag. Students carefully observed changes such as temperature change, gas formation, and color changes to determine whether a chemical reaction had occurred. They also analyzed each mixture to classify the reaction as exothermic or endothermic based on whether the bag released or absorbed heat. This engaging lab helped students deepen their understanding of real-world chemistry and sharpen their scientific observation skills.
