Please join us in congratulating Mountain Gap Middle School’s CyberPatriot team, “The Roaring Knights,” for earning 1st place in the U.S. CyberPatriot Alabama State Competition on December 12, 2025.
A total of 33 teams from across the state of Alabama competed, making this an outstanding achievement for our students. Finishing first in the state is a remarkable accomplishment and a testament to their hard work and dedication.
Team members include Brayden Weimer, Miles Crackel, William Zupko, Michael Estrict, and Brian Lipscomb.
Mountain Gap’s second CyberPatriot team, “The Mister Platts,” also had an impressive showing, tying for 4th place and missing a third-place trophy by only two points. Team members include Dustin Gray, Holden Farnell, Jaxon Baharloui, and Nayshaun Williams.
Both teams have qualified to advance and will compete again at the divisional competition on January 23, where they will face middle school teams from Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
