6th graders around a lab table

Our 6th grade scientists have been hard at work investigating convection currents and air masses as part of their study of weather and climate. Through hands-on activities and observations, students explored how heat transfer causes air to move and creates convection currents. These investigations helped students build a strong foundation for understanding how air masses interact and influence daily weather patterns. It was exciting to see students actively engaged in learning as they connected classroom science concepts to real-world weather phenomena.
